SUSTAINABLE SELF-CARE

How you take care of yourself matters. You cannot pour from an empty cup. Here is where you pour back into yourself, understand your boundaries. It's showing up for and nurturing yourself consistently. Self-care doesn’t have to cost a thing it is anything that gives you a way to reconnect with yourself and your community in meaningful, long-term ways that nurture your individual welfare and gives you the power to thrive and continue to do the collective work. You can only be as intimate with others as you've been with yourself.

SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY CARE

We were never meant to do this alone. This is sharing with a friend, having someone in your corner, being a part of something. Whether it's a retreat, or a yoga class, or knitting, or a protest, or a garden. Community care is a part of your healing, healing, in general, can be very lonely so finding a community online or in-person where people share your beliefs and intention actually speeds up your healing process. Knowing that you are not alone in itself is healing. When you are taking care of yourself and you feel full, you can love and share with people in your community in a generous way. Everyone at your table then is full because you are full and vice versa

MEDITATION / STILLNESS

To train your mind, to understand your mind, meditation is one of the best and oldest tools here. Silencing the chaos of this fast-paced world to tap into your deep inner knowing. Periods of stillness include tech detox, not listening to music, not consuming information like reading or watching other people's videos. Prayer is important but meditation is the act of actively listening to the messages you asked for.

TIBETAN SLEEP AND DREAM YOGA

To understand the darkness of your mind, you have to be able to swim in it without drowning. There are so many shadow work tools but this one by far is incredible to witness and learn about your internal world. This is deeper than just lucid dreaming. This world is full of wonder, mystery, and infinite profundity. It’s the world of the inner space of your own mind, a dimension of reality that’s as deep and vast as the outer space of the cosmos. We spend more time in bed than any other single place, dead to the outer world, but potentially alive to an exciting inner world. These practices use the process of sleep to “wake us up”.

SOMATIC RELEASE / EMBODIMENT

I cannot stress this enough, your emotional health affects all aspects of your life. Mother nature gave us tools and reflexes to release and aid our own healing. Look at babies how fully expressed they are in their feeling and how they let things go. Embodiment and somatic release help you let go of the weight of your traumas and expectations, become FULLY present in your body, and start experiencing the fullness of pleasure and intuitive trust.

YOGA / BREATHWORK

Yoga brings a gift of uniting the breath and the body which will gift you in being more present in your body so you can pick up on the messages it needs to communicate to you. Your breath is your spirit, when your breath leaves so does your spirit. Consciously using your breath to bring you back to your body could be the key to your surrender and understanding boundaries and healing.

Learn about yourself, what lights you up and what doesn't. All these tools are freely available to you. You have the power to make your life what you want. My prayer for you is that your life becomes a reflection of your hopes and dreams and not your fears.

And these tools will allow you to do just that.


You already have everything you need these tools are sometimes what you need to realize it.
