The Red Pill

How to Live a Purpose-Driven Life: Finding Your Version of the Truth

Have you ever found yourself questioning your existence and wondering what your purpose is? If so, you are not alone. This universal question is one that we have all asked ourselves at some point in our lives. While there may not be a definitive answer, it is possible to find your own version of the truth that resonates with you and leads you towards living a purpose-driven life. In this article, we will explore some personal findings and insights that can help you on this journey.

The meaning we associate with life is a direct reflection of how we find ourselves worthy of expressing our divine authentic nature. Life itself is very much like the ‘matrix’.

We have a choice, the blue pill or the red pill. Allow it all in or to remain the same, the same loop, perspective and essentially stay on this perpetual where most of us find ourselves running and lost in some way. OR you take the leap, discover your own version of the truth that resonates with you and this new you, and allows you to transcend into a space of ease, flow and growth (of course this includes the trials, tribulations etc)

So how do you start introducing the ‘red pill’ into your life, when all you have experienced is the blue one?

Each to their own yet this is what I found I did, and as I began altering each of these aspects, I began to see and experience life very differently

You are overthinking

The mind can either help guide you along this journey or take you out of the flow. Thoughts are powerful tools that can become an addiction. We tend to overthink our actions without execution, override our heart's desires and completely smother our intuition. Yes, it is great to think and expand your knowledge, but there is a fine line.

All thoughts stem from the collective consciousness. Do you think your idea is original? Think again. It's been thought of but possibly not acted on. It's a slippery slope exploring all that is, wanting to know it all, and hopefully finding something that you love.

The cure to overthinking is accepting that you will know when you need to know it. Trust that.

You Do Not Know Yourself

We go about life exploring ourselves from the external, getting caught up in doing all kinds of things. Missing the point. Getting to know other people that don't necessarily know themselves whilst you don't know yourself.

Crazy isn't it? We think we know ourselves by the people we surround ourselves with. Remember that you are a unique expression of existence. The people surrounding you could also be interpreted as your internal state being reflected in your external reality.

Disengage from others and engage in/with yourself. Ask yourself what you like and dislike. FEEL into how your body responds to the questions you ask. Look into your values, look at what gets you into your 'HELL YES' state of being

Emotional Disconnect

This is normally a side effect of 'checking out' as a child after a trauma, or consistent emotional trauma. You switch off and no longer 'feel'. Action without emotion means very little, only living from the mind. The mind is rational yet it can only take you so far. It alone cannot truly comprehend the expression of what you are. Yet we trust it blindly amidst all the programs/subconscious beliefs we still hold and act from.

Without emotion, we cannot access our intuitive wisdom. No internal guidance system means that you stay in the 'rat race' or are fixated on finding a sense of purpose and balance within your life. No matter what you achieve in your life, it will not mean what you want it to, nor will it fill the void.

The cure is all about being brave enough to dig into your emotions. Allow yourself to contemplate, and hold space without judgment. Feel what needs to be felt, to heal. Uncover the blocks you still hold. A life without feeling is like living without colour and texture. The meaning of everything relates to your internal state of reference.

When we are able to connect with ourselves, knowing that we are not our emotions and that we are essentially the presence in which life itself is the process at this point things get interesting and simple.

You first recognize that you are perfect when in this space of presence. This is not from the egoic standpoint but from a space where you reside at your fullest potential. Meaning you see the part of creation that coexists within you, that which has always been there.

SELF-CRITICISM AND JUDGEMENT

This is a pill that many take far to often. We find a way to compare ourselves with others and even things. We are designed to spot contrast and when it does not meet our expectations in the reality that we are in ‘right now’ we find ways to critique and judge ourselves and others to substantiate the ‘why’.

What if you took a moment today to give yourself a break from judgement and comparison, how would you imagine that could feel?

I can tell you that when you are able to catch yourself in this loop or way of interacting with yourself it allows more ease into your life, your space your actions and your thoughts.

Nick this was great but how do I start this journey? How do I know what the next step is? Where the hell is the RED PILL?

Taking the Red Pill

Living a purpose-driven life requires taking the "red pill," or making a choice to transcend your current reality and step into a space of growth, ease, and flow. The red pill is a set of decisions away, and it's available to you right now. By implementing the strategies outlined above, you can start to make the changes needed to live a more authentic and purposeful life.

In conclusion, living a purpose-driven life requires taking steps towards understanding yourself, embracing your emotions, letting go of self-criticism, and trusting your intuition. By doing so, you can find your own version of the truth and take the red pill towards a life of growth, ease, and flow. Remember, you are the architect of your life, and the possibilities are limitless.

Make the shift.
